Local community in a forest of Costa Rica. They are calling for a halt of intensive corporative logging and of the unsustainable conversion of forests to agriculture and pastures. They are strongly opposing the «carbon sink» and other schemes which intend to replace diverse forests with tree plantations as well as other form of privatising nature. The are calling for the local communities and indigenous people to control their forests and make use of its resources in their traditional sustainable manners.
